Hawks knock off the Wings again; Bourque out 4-6 weeks

It was just plain awesome to watch the Blackhawks beat the Red Wings 5-3 last night, making them 4-0 against hated Detroit, and Patrick Sharp picks up the natural hat trick, not to mention the SCH Hawks Player Of The Game award. Simply an awesome effort and a nice way to get back in the win column after two tough losses to start this road trip.

Unfortunately, it wasn't all good news, because today it was revealed that Rene Bourque broke his thumb after taking a slapshot to the hand last night, and will be out 4-6 weeks. Tough break for him, as he had two goals last night, both short-handed, and the one in the 1st period that he picked up was simply amazing. We'll see who replaces him; Martin Havlat apparently might be ready to return for Thursday @ Calgary, or maybe someone like Jack Skille will be called up.
