Versteeg and Dowell called up to the big club

Looks like the Blackhawks have called up a couple of forwards today, as Kris Versteeg and Jacob Dowell are now up from Rockford. Also, Dave Bolland was sent down. Neither of these players has any NHL experience, but it seems like both of them were playing decently in Rockford. I would guess they'll both get a little playing time on the 3rd/4th lines, if they even play much.

Apparently, Martin Havlat won't be playing Thursday in Calgary as was reported, but he may return on November 28th against Tampa Bay, at the United Center. It's good that they are not rushing him and waiting for the right time to bring him back.
