Vancouver Canucks @ Chicago Blackhawks

Chicago Blackhawks (1-2-2) vs. Vancouver Canucks (3-2-0)
Chicago TV: CSN (HD)
Chicago Radio: WGN (720 AM)
Well, Joel Quenneville's debut didn't go too well last night after the Hawks blew a 3rd period lead with 13 seconds to go and eventually lost 4-3 in a shootout to the Blues. Hopefully, things go better tonight at home with a big crowd on hand.
Goalie-wise, I would think we will probably see Cristobal Huet tonight with Khabibulin having played last night, but how about Khabby anyways? Another stellar game for him last night in St. Louis and he has been the better goalie by far through the first 5 games of the year. Hopefully, Huet can get it going so we don't have to worry about trading the wrong goalie.

Attacking the goalie
Has gotten us a lot of goals the last couple of games. Patrick Kane now has a goal the last two games with him just never stopping motion and cleaning up. Hopefully we keep it up. Cheap goals off rebounds are goals nonetheless.

Kane
Kane has 6 points in his last two games. Two goals and an assist against the Blues, and two assists and goal against the Canucks. Patrick Kane is starting to really break out in his sophomore season in the NHL.

kane also made one of the classiest
moves you ever see in hockey when he gave up the puck to toews with the seconds in the game left with an open net. the captain has been struggling lately in even gettin assists after leading all rookies in goals last year. its too bad he put it in after the horn. but classy regardless on kane’s part, lets just hope that the rest of the team follows suit all year.

That pass from Kane to Toews is really getting blown out of proportion.
Sure it was a nice move, but its really not all that uncommon to see when one guy is struggling. Yet I’ve seen it mentioned in just about every article about the Hawks since The Classiest Pass In The History of the NHL occured.

I agree
Although I did like it, it is being a little blown out of proportion. You see it a lot with empty nets, guys passing to someone else so they can have the goal (or chance at a goal).
LET'S GO HAWKS!
