Standing Room Only Qs
I have "standing room only" tickets for the flyers game on the 26th. I've never had standing room tickets for anything before, and I haven't been to a hawks game in years. Can anyone break down how this is gonna work? I understand that the designation is pretty self explanatory (I will be standing) but I don't know if there's a certain section etc. etc. Any comments, suggestions, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't had standing room seats
since the mid-90’s. But if nothing has changed, you basically find yourself a spot behind the top row of the 300’s.

Yeah – that’s just about right. You’ll be up behind the 300’s towards the ends of the arena. They’re actually not that bad if you get there early and get a spot along the rail. The best part is the beer guys walk right past you a lot so you can get easy access to them.
I’ve had a lot of fun in the standing room only section.
At a game last year we saw a guy being chased by security for something – they were able to grab him by his jacket right behind me but in one of the sickest moves I’ve ever seen he completely slipped out of his jacket without breaking stride and the fat guard almost fell over.
We then watched him run all the way to the other side of the rink, down some stairs and into the concourse to what we thought was freedom. The security guards were miles behind him. We tried to hide his jacket but they found it and it had his ID in it.. womp womp.
I asked what he did and one of the security guards told me he was shitfaced and had gone into the stairwell and just started pissing everywhere…. good times
