When I first heard about Ruutu leaving I didn't really care what we got.  To me Ruutu was the heart and soul of these "Indians."  Even when the rest of the team hung up the skates for the night, "Ruut" would go all the way. His physical play and leadership was great.  This being said, I am now, a week later, liking the deal.  Ladd obviously has some talent and showed it with two goals the past week playing on the same line as Toews and Kane.  I am not 100% sold, but I think Ladd may be the guy we needed to jump start a playoff run.
