Preseason Tickets

This may seem like a minor complaint but while we wait (which seems like an extremely long time) for the NHL to release the 08-09 schedule does it seem right that the Hawks continue to sell their preseason seats for the same amount as the regular season seats?  It just doesn't make sense to me.

I would be much more inclined to go to a game if the tickets were, say, half price for preseason.  I think it makes more sense and would also fill the place a bit more for games that don't count anyway.

I've noticed that

Personally, I’ve never been to a pre-season game and it’s unlikely I ever will, I just find them boring in general, the only interest is to see some of the young players who are trying to grab a spot or will in the future.

I agree

Which is why paying full price is absurd
