Patrick Kane officially was named an All-Star Game starter Saturday, but he will have to wait awhile before he can celebrate with those Blackhawks fans who voted for him. Kane won't play tonight against the Calgary Flames at the United Center after aggravating his right-ankle injury in Thursday's Winter Classic. Kane, who leads the Hawks in scoring with 41 points, called his situation day to day. He will accompany the team on its three-game road trip that begins Tuesday night in Arizona against the Coyotes. "It's not feeling too great right now, so I think I just have to rest up and make sure it's better for a better time of year when I'm needed more," Kane said Saturday. "I think it's probably a day-to-day injury. I'm going to continue to get it treated and do everything to get back as soon as I can."
