I bet you think you're really cool Mr Willie Mitchell. For the next few weeks you'll be riding high flashing back to how you blindsided our beloved captain board battle. You think you're tough or something but I've got news for you...

Yeah dude, that's sting and robocop. Pretty fucking scary if you ask me but that's nothing compared to what's going to be unleashed on your ass next time we meet. Right now you're probably thinking how much it sucks to get stinger splashed while getting stabbed with robocop's fist spike. Maybe you just peed a little. Rest assured, you're going to get yours and when you do it won't be pretty.

Not to nitpick here, but...

You do realize it was a clean hit, right?

If Henrik Sedin was coming through the neutral zone looking back for a pass and Seabrook came out of the box and cleaned Henrik’s clock so throughly and cleanly, we’d have a bonertastic sploogefest over it.

Your lips say no...

Yikes

this is just a quirky little post and two people are getting all uppity about something that is supposed to be whimsical? Let’s try to keep nasty / trite comments to a minimum

On a side note: I had completely forgotten about “Sting”

OK, I'll bite...

If “quirky” was what you were going for, why not PShop Hawks’ sweaters onto Sting and Robocop?

So reader A posts something, Reader B comments, and you’re Reader C?

If ZSZ takes offense to MJT’s comment, I’m pretty sure he can sic Sting and Robocop on him.

(Wouldn’t Jim Thornton – albeit football instead of hockey be a better Robocop? Guess it’s all a matter of artistic interpretation)

Its all funny and stuff ZSZ…i love the post.

Just wonderin’…are you trying to turn this into a whole “he hit our Capt”…crap like Naslund and Bertuzzi had with the Avs a few years ago?

Yeah, that turned out well.

I am betting it is more likely the coach and all the players on both sides can be taken at face value for their comments.

Calling it what it was…a “Clean” hit.

His number is 8. It says Mitchell on the back. I am equally sure he has no problem answering for a clean hit.

With another one. Its Nov.22nd ZSZ…I am sure the teams already circled it last night.

Bu tlets not blow it out of proportion, it was not the flying elbow to a defenseless chin that Nazzy’s was…it was as clean as you can get. Toews basically ran into him…head down.

It happens.

Totally agree

I can’t speak for all Chicago fans but all the ones I know (myself included), thought it was a great hit, a beautiful hit…we just wish it had happened to one of the guys in white & blue, not one of our guys (and one of our best guys at that).

I don’t know ZSZ’s ultimate intention with this post (only he knows), but I took it as something all in good fun, not something meant to incite revenge.

Um

I thought that fact he was threatening Mitchell with Sting and Robocop should have made it fairly obvious this was a joke.

And a funny one. Maybe Scotty B can fly down from the rafters and Panther Kick Mitchell partway through the 3rd.

Dude…I knew he was joking. I just hate that whole “retribution” thing for every clean hit.

I doubt a team coached by Q would do that anyhow….just sayin is all…

Peace
