Take 2: Hawks v Panthers Preview And Thread
Look, it's all the same shit over again, so I don't need to post it, except this time Niemi might start.
Also, if a Panther fan could let us know what Randy Moeller's goal calls are from today, we'd be very much interested to hear them.

Hawks need a win...
…coming home from Finland without a win wouldn’t be disasterous, but wouldn’t be good either. A win today could go a long way in instilling some early confidence for this team and for Niemi if he should play well.
LET’S GO HAWKS!
It's never about the eventual destination, but rather the long journey and its challenging obstacles that are presented and what it takes to overcome them, that makes the taste of success all the more worthwhile!!!
Lines for Today
Buff – Bolland – Kane
Versteeg – Toews – Sharp
Ladd – Madden – Brouwer
Eager – Fraser – Kopecky
Those lines are bullshit

Food for thought?
If the Hawks are the road team today then why are they playing on the same side of the ice with the benches in the same spot? Interesting.

Shots: Hawks – 23 Cats – 11
Hits: Hawks – 17 Cats – 20

Let it begin
There is a goaltender controversy in Chicago with Niemi’s performance today. Looked comfortable and had excellent rebound control and it was extra special for him to record his first NHL ShutOut in his own backyard – the Hartwall arena in Helsinki, Finland. Great job by the Hawks for getting the win an getting 3 out of 4 points on this European Vacation now on to the scene of the crime….the Joe and I can’t wait.
Question though: Who gets the nod on Thursday? It will be interesting to see who Q starts.
It's never about the eventual destination, but rather the long journey and its challenging obstacles that are presented and what it takes to overcome them, that makes the taste of success all the more worthwhile!!!
it'll be Huet
they’ll put Niemi’s play on a great performance due to being the local kid. He needs to have a few starts like this before the coaches will take him as a serious threat. Either that or Huet will keep his save % around 87.5% and get himself yanked.

ok, so
at about the 12 minute mark of the third… Sopel has what might have been his best shift in years, keeping the puck in the offensive zone 3 times and managing to even get a decent shot off. Then he quickly follows that up on the next shift by rushing straight in on the net for a decent scoring chance… to bad it was his own fucking net. Fucking drunken moose.
