The Hockey News Tells Us What To Do

Everybody is a capologist these days.  Ken Campbell from The Hockey News has decided to throw in his two cents, saying that the Blackhawks should send Huet to the minors to free up his cap hit and promote Cory Crawford or Fallon.  I'm obviously not a genius, but I'm fairly certain that Rocky (despite being a gazillionaire) is not going to pay Huet $5.6 million (or whatever) to sit down in Rockford and watch the construction on I-90.  I'm not ready to call Campbell the Barry Rozner of the North, but it's getting there...

Obviously when you have a guy on a hot streak, you should send him down before he goes cold. There’s no other solution here.

Seriously though, he got paid to write that?

Don't be Silly

Huet has been playin good hockey for most of this season. He may have had a rough start in Oct but the Second half of Oct and this whole month of Nov Huet has been been Great. In fact both our goalies have been performing spectacular. Forget what OTHER columnist in OTHER markets are writing. The fans and the writers that follow the Blackhawks game in and game out are really the only opinions to take to heart.

Side note, analyst with the like of Pierre LeBrun write what I believe are honest and credible hockey columns.

How many more days til Burish is back?

Another needed move

Sign a big goon. Someone to throw-down and protect our sissy “skill” players.

Cause, y’know, you can’t win in the NHL without toughness and grit.

I would like to know

How he got his job, because I’m pretty sure I can do it just a bit better without any experience whatsoever.
