Happy Thanksgiving From Second City Hockey

Thanksgiving-charlie-brown-snoopy_medium

From McClure, Killion, and myself, everyone have a happy and safe holiday (though the former shouldn't be too hard after last night).  One of the things the three of us are thankful for is having all of you that make writing this blog so much fun.  We'll talk tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving fellow Blackhawk fans!

Last night was a pure joy to watch, and something to be thankful for… and another thing to be thankful for is the comeback against Calgary which is airing on NHL Network in about 15 minutes! I am truly thankful to be a Blackhawks fan.

Eat well, everyone, and we’ll get back to business tomorrow!

And I am thankful for AT&T giving me a free preview of all the channels starting today. NHL Network will not be turned off all day.

thankful for a real hockey team in Chicago

after many years of hockey wasteland.

Thankful that Rocky Wirtz took over this team

…and started the puck rolling toward this amazing revival. Winter is much easier to deal with when we have a dominant, exciting hockey team to root for!

To continue the man-crush on Madden,

check out Mirtle’s post on the top 25 defensive forwards of the season. Is there any way Versteeg! is #2 without Madden playing with him?

Things to be thankful for

-thanful enough that after years of supporting this once dormant franchise that it’s finally paying off with the rebirth of this franchise on and off the ice.
-thankful enough that the 3 here take so much of their time to put together this wonderful site.
-thanful enough to live a life of good health and prosperity.
-And last but not least, thankful for Packers 34, Lions 12.

Have a wonderful THANKSGIVING!!!

It's never about the eventual destination, but rather the long journey and its challenging obstacles that are presented and what it takes to overcome them, that makes the taste of success all the more worthwhile!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

There’s so much to be thankful for, but Bob LeDonne really just summed it all up.
