Original Six
With the Hawks' victory over the Douche Bags last night, they completed a sweep of the five O6 teams. This begs some questions, and after checking the web and failing to uncover the answers, thought I'd raise them for feedback from the Second City crew.
When was the last time the Hawks played each of the other five O6 teams in the same season?
When was the last time the Hawks defeated each of the other five O6 teams in the same season?
When was the last time each of these feats took place at home?

I did that, but..........
………the answers were not evident. Thought someone on this site might already have a feel for the dates and details.

I'm aware, but..........
……….had hoped the local media or some other outlet had taken the time to make note of this (sadly) historic event.

The Hawks play each of the other 5 O6 teams every season. Every team plays every other team at least once every season. As to your other questions I have no idea.

That's not correct.
Every team does not face the other each season.
As for the O6, in fact as recent as the 2007-08 season, the Hawks didn’t face the Rangers.
This is the reason I raised the question.

Actually skapunknj is right – it’s a new thing I think as recent as last year… but every team will play at least one game against every team each year now.
And I’m not trying to be a dick but I think your signature is actually a Dean Martin line, not Frank… it’s an awesome quote though

Correct..............
……….on the CURRENT plan for play in the NHL, but that’s not been the case in the past.
Pretty sure it was Frank, although Dino could have taken it for his own. You know how those Rat Pack guys hung together……..
