Interesting piece
Great to see Badger ready for return come March after the Olympics as he’ll provide a little energy to a team that will need it with about 8 players going to the Olympic tournament.
Incredible to see that Saturday’s game brought in a 3.2 rating with a peak of 5.7. Wow, has hockey ever returned to the Windy City.
Suprised to see the convention being held on a later date this year July31-August 1st. Wonder what’s the reasoning behind that?
It's never about the eventual destination, but rather the long journey and its challenging obstacles that are presented and what it takes to overcome them, that makes the taste of success all the more worthwhile!!!

Enough time for both baseball teams to completely fall apart. Sports fans will be begging for hockey again.

Plus we'll be playing a few weeks later.

surprise to hear that about the ratings...
…considering that WGN america didn’t show the game outside of the chicago market. I was in champaign this weekend and had to survive with cell phone updates.
Oh how i long for the day that the NHL is the TV priority for networks.
Needless to say, i nearly shit a brick when i hit “refresh” at the 19 minute mark in the 3rd and saw that the pens tied it.

Go Badgers
10-5-1 on the year so far. Too bad Big Ten Network doesnt start broadcasting College Hockey until January.

Pfffff.
We’ll see how good the Badgers are this weekend when they play the #3 ranked Sioux. Toews’ little bro isn’t playing all that bad now, and neither is Zajac Jr.

OH NO
not North Dakota! I’m sure they’re sooo scared. The Badgers won the last time they played 4-1. They’ve beat ND plenty of times in the past, and the difference between #11 and #3 is not that big in college hockey. They can have lil’ Toews and Zajac, UW’s top 4 D-men are first round picks and the rest are early second rounders. They’ll shut’wm down

The last time they played?
What, last season? New year baby, new squad. ND is leagues ahead of where they were last year. Looking at the competition UW has played so far, seems pretty similar with ND’s schedule. Should be a good measuring stick for both squads.
My prediction:
Friday Night: 5-4 Sioux
Saturday Night: 3-3 Tie

should be good games either way. I don’t think they’ll be on any TV channel here in Chicago. I’d love to watch at least one of the games

NHL network
Friday night they are playing the ND vs UW game @ 7:30. They are also replaying the match up on Saturday. Which is when I"ll be watching it since the Hawks play Friday night too.

glad to hear
After watching the Pens Hawks game Malkin needs a serious cross check from Burish.

My wife will be happy
Adam Burish is one of the few men on this planet she would waive her marital vows for. She’s plotting ways to meet him outside the lockerroom someday.
I like Burish too. He adds a good dimension to the Hawks.

And it gives you a night without the wife, which is when you can make your move on one of the ice-skanks.

Ice skanks love being lectured about 'how the NHL works today'
I predict BLou will enjoy many successes that night.

That's how it all starts
the husband and wife have the “list of five”, then the next thing you know, you’re hooking up with a soft core porn star (except it’s no fun since she makes you tape your wang down), you end up with all sorts of VD, you done fucked up your best Escalade, you no longer have the coin to buy your daughter that stable of ponies she wants for her 5th birthday because your endorsement deals suddenly went dry, and to top it all off, your mother-in-law gets all “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and sets up shop in your pool house for the forseeable future. Don’t do it man.

Not to worry
The wife and I have been more or less happily married for 17 years. If she hasn’t left me for an NHL hockey player yet then it’s not ever going to happen. And I’’m also faithful to a fault. Not that I don’t oogle during the shoot the puck contest or check out the ice skanks.
