i have tickets for thursdays hawks game and fridays cubs game…hopefully i can find some cheap tickets to saturdays game, being a broke college kid and all, however this seems very unlikely

…hope the Hawks can blast the Flames in the first game and end this talk of no experience. The Flames are being given way too much respect given their playoff experience but everyone seems to forget that since 1989 the Flames have only won 1 playoff series in the first round and that was in 2004. And in 2004 they beat the Canucks in game 7 in OT with the Canucks missing Cloutier and Bertuzzi!
Khabby beat them once and he’ll beat them again-Hawks in FIVE!!!

I understand your point, but only a short while ago we lost games to the Avalanche and the Islanders because we didn’t respect what they could bring to the table. It’s obviously not the same situation, but I’d think that the moment our boys play a game without respecting the experience of Iginla, Kiprusoffa, Phaneuf, Regehr, Jokinen … then that’ll be the first game we lose.

CSN is showing all the games, even the ones VS is broadcasting

From the webpage I linked above: “Comcast SportsNet will be the exclusive television home in the Chicago market to see Games 1-4, along with Games 5-7 if necessary.”

I wonder if “exclusive” means that VS will be blacked out in the Chicago area during the games.

Why are the first four games in half-hour increments?

This is such bullshit. Good thing I’m pretty much done with my student teaching, because there are going to be a lot of tired days when the playoffs start. Thanks for fucking up everyone’s “real life” schedules, Mr. Playoff Schedule Maker.
