The main reason for picking Conan is that it's about time we had a good red-beard up here. I guess J.H.C. kinda has one - but we needed a full on red head.

Conan's beard I guess was related to the writer's strike a while back when TV stopped being funny. All TV except for Conan, the Daily Show and Colbert Report that is. Conan was still hilarious and growing a strike beard was even better.

Conan should have never shaved. He grew a surprisingly great beard. Letterman’s was a noble effort, but kinda creepy.

Also, I would like to rebut that tv wasn’t really particularly funny or good before, after or during the writer’s strike as a whole, but I guess that it s a different debate for a different blog.

I like boobs.

For the most part, sure

But there’s also some quality there – 30 Rock, The Office, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Daily Show, Colbert, Conan, Venture Bros… I really only watch TV for comedy.. I’m also an unabashed LOST watcher..

On HBO, not really the same thing, there’s plenty of great “drama” too.
