April 22nd - Beard of the Day: Al Gore

In honor of Earth Day - we had to go with a man who singlehandedly saved the earth from certain doom.
Wait, what? We haven't stopped global warming yet? sonofabitch..
Anyways, Gore has done some awesome stuff - not least of all was creating the internet and allowing us to waste time on blogs and talk hockey. Not to mention all the free porn. Thanks Al!
In closing,

I think he would've won
if he had the beard. God, he’s manly!
Oh, and if W.‘s brother wasn’t governor over the contested state and the person who was in charge of the recount wasn’t the governor’s secretary of state and if the company that was tasked with the recount wasn’t partially owned by the Walker Group (which is where the Bushes get their money – the W stands for ‘Walker’).
but has he caught manbearpig?
"Oh, that's easy. White Sox. I'm not one of these fair-weather fans. You go to Wrigley Field, you have a beer; beautiful people up there. People aren't watching the game. It's not serious. White Sox, that's baseball. South Side." -O'Bama
Great Article
Not sure if anyone saw this yet – tonight is going to be very interesting.
thanks for the link
That was a good article. So it took almost 3 full games, and then one questionable hit by Burish to get the Flames into the series emotionally? I don’t buy that.
I think this is a good thing, though. Hopefully they will focus more of their angst on Burish, a 4th liner. That should take a little of the pressure off of the other “targets” on the team, Kane, Toews, Havlat, etc. I like what Burish has been doing in the series, in fact, I like what the whole 4th line has been doing. They definitely seem to be getting under the Flamers’ skin. Keep it up!
LET’S GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!
I'm glad Keenan sat down with Iginla though
to make sure he was okay, emotionally. Keenan knows that while sticks and stones can break bones, especially when your face is on your shoulder, its words that really make the soul cry.
Got more soul than a sock with a hole.
