Not to nitpick, but...
What is wrong with this picture?

One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong. I know that star ratings are completely subjective, and in the grand scheme of the Blackhawks moving on to Round 2, it's totally meaningless, but who's the schmuck that thought Cory Sarich was the second best player on the ice tonight. A defensemen who was -1 on the night, didn't contribute to his team's only goal, and whose only positive on the night seemed to be that he had one less hit than Seabrook's game-leading 5.
Did anyone see anything in Sarich I didn't, or did the partisan voters give it to him simply for showing up and playing (sort of) hurt?
Regardless, I'm glad to be done with the Flames for the year. Let us turn our attention to an even bigger hurdle: facing Roberto Luongo in the playoffs without the security blanket of home ice advantage.
LET'S GO HAWKS!!

Wow
There always seems to be a questionable star given out but that is among the worst I have seen this season.
Bucky's 5th Quarter. SB Nation's Wisconsin Badgers community.
You kinda have to give the Flames’ fans something.. they just got dominated in that game. It’s not like those ratings mean anything
yeah but
Give it to a Flame who showed up to play. Sarich was awful. Iginla earned it more than him just with that one pass into the zone to Jokinen.

probably because he was supposedly playing injured.
plus, stars are given out by the media, aren’t they? Probably more media there supporting Cal and Gary than you guys, throwing out a bone.
