I love me some Cocmast.
And I’m glad the only truly late start is on a Saturday.
NOW STOP IT RIGHT HERE
Yep. 8pm starts are much better for my
next day productivity.
Got more soul than a sock with a hole.
Per Blackhawks official Twitter
NHLBlackhawks As @schuylerb notes, Game 1 vs. VAN is exclusively on Versus in US (no CSN Chicago). Local TV and radio info for series coming later today.
I like boobs.
I really don't mind Doc, either.
But something tells me that we’ll get somebody else. Which would suck hard.

Didn't we have this happen already,
wherein local TV guy gets booted and rules are revised as a result?
Oh — I know why I thought that. 1980 WS, Harry Kalas. (R.I.P.)
Notably: no TSN, which means no Pierre McGuire for you Center/Centre Ice people. Silver lining.

UPDATE:
Blackhawks Twit twitters thusly:
Correct. Games 1 and 4 are both exclusively on Versus. Here is updated broadcast info, fresh out of the oven: http://bit.ly/tIcgc
So that’s two games into the No Foleys Club. This is all about national ratings, I reckon.
Hey — you know what would boost national ratings? BUYING OUT THE CONTRACT AND PUTTING HOCKEY BACK ON ESPN. (Yes, yes — we’d have to deal with ESPN fucknuttery. But if there is no one around to hear it, is it really fucknuttery?)
Fucking Bettman.

CBC
If anyone in Chicago can figure out a way to get CBC for the games, do it. They’ll obviously be slanted toward Vancouver, but it’s some of the best hockey broadcasting going. It’ll likely be Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson calling the games, and they’re fantastic together.
Hughson, Simpson sure, Crawford NO

... from cbc.ca
“Play-by-play man Jim Hughson and analyst Craig Simpson will call the action from Vancouver ….”
There will probably be at least one internet feed from CBC
but I’d rather watch Vs. in standard-def than CBC on my computer in shit-def
NOW STOP IT RIGHT HERE
And no HNIC simulcast from NHL Network
as there was during the season. That was pretty cool. Emphasis on was.

Crappiness. I haven’t watched a CBC broadcast online before, didn’t realize it was poorly done. Surprises me.
CSN-Chicago website appears to confirm
Looks like Games 1 and 4 are on Versus exclusively. Had to call Dish Network and make an upgrade to their highest package.
Happy with the schedule but...
…not happy with the fact that Games 1 and 4 are exclusively on Versus. However I really love the fact that all the games in Vancouver are on Thursday and Saturday so I can watch all the games this round! It’s a little hard to watch a game when it starts at 10 o’clock EST when you have to get up at 5:30 am to go to work for 6 am! Stayed up for Game 6- the clincher- but felt like shit the next day. Sleep deprivation + few too may celebratory beers = FUCK ME the next day!
Well this sucks.
I don’t get Versus, so I’ll be stuck with an internet feed (if there’s one available) for games one and four. I think I’ll try to get tickets to game four off of eBay.
"He shows up every day to play, he plays hard every day, and he shows up to beat your butt." ~Ozzie Guillen on AJ Pierzynski, 3-17-09
R.I.P. Harry Kalas 4-13-09
There have been at least three feeds available for every playoff game
I think you’ll be fine.
