We need more of Pic 3 Tonight
See Seabrook destroying that poor Nuck? Yeah, we need more of that. Preferably on the Children of Corn.
I'd rather forget about Game 1, but when I saw that picture I couldn't resist.
Eager's hit on Rypien was sweet too. Glad he didn't get suspended by Colin Campbell. WTF is the logic behind these suspensions anyway? It's got to be one of the most subjective calls in all of sports.

While everyone likes big hits, that's not really our game.
The games when we decided to get really physical with Calgary were the games we lost. We’re not a particularly big or physical team, and playing as such against teams that are much bigger than us (i.e. Vancouver) will really just get us in trouble. We have a very skilled and fast team, and we perform best when playing like one.
I’m not saying avoid hits Kane-style, but don’t seek them out Eager-style (well, Eager can do that, because that’s what we pay him to do).

Dually noted
Maybe a few extra hits will slow them down a little. The Nucks were faster than us, I thought, for most of the game.
I agree, though.
This game should be tighter
now that both teams have a feel for each other. Probably a low scoring affair tonight. Goalie battle anyone?
I agree with mjthor. Perhaps I’m falling into the stereotypical “USA” fanbase trap where everyone wants to see the physical game. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the finesse game more than anything. I just think a few more hits could help slow them down a bit.
LETS GO HAWKS
