Would FUCK be the appropriate response here?
If I can't be a good example, I'll just be a horrible warning
yes
"...but the devil lives inside this kid, I swear it. It rises out of him in a mist, this baby-faced defiant wrathful version of Pat Kane, escapes his bodily confines to perform satanic miracles all over the offensive zone. The only thing more fearsome than that assist was the keep-in preceding it. The only thing more unholy than his face is his black magic." GMH

Facing elimination for the first time
I’m worried the hawks are going to come out trying to do too much, playing right into detroit’s hands – let’s hope we can actually capitalize on lidstrom’s absence this time

Guys
I don’t mean to be that “our goalie sucks!” kinda guy, but I have exactly 3.2% confidence in Huey tonight.
I know he’s capable of a great game, but the Scum have made him look bad…real bad. Not only on Sunday, but at Wrigley too. I found myself holding my breath at pretty much EVERY shot they took at him, and/or drive to the net, silently praying it wouldn’t find twine in game 4. And needless to say, God didn’t exactly hear those prayers.

FUCK
"Oh, that's easy. White Sox. I'm not one of these fair-weather fans. You go to Wrigley Field, you have a beer; beautiful people up there. People aren't watching the game. It's not serious. White Sox, that's baseball. South Side." -O'Bama
In Huet We Trust
We are due for a stellar performance from our goalies, its not even funny. I have faith that tonight Huet will answer the call and do his best Bulin Wall impression and carry the Hawks on to Game 6.
Also I am feelin Fraser making the most of his ice time and having a stand out game.
Tonight, the role of Captain Optimism will be played by Sportsgal
Not to get all Ice Cube on everyone, but I honestly think today will be a good day. I went fishing this morning and caught the biggest bass of the day, I get to watch Barcelona vs Manchester United in less than an hour, and I found a company that might actually hire me. There is no way the Blackhawks are going to lose tonight.
that's what she said
There's no way they lose...
because you went fishing this morning? That’s preposterous to think that the things that you do impact the outcome of the Blackhawks game.
Besides, they’re going to win because I’m going to wear my road jersey (Kane) and because I had a reuben for lunch. Duh.
Our dice are in a vice
Detroit will win tonight. But this was a GREAT season and the future is very bright. Hopefully it will be us playing the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup Finals in a year or two. Dale Tallon has work to do this offseason and some critical decisions to make. Several players also need to commit to the Indian and take their physical conditioning and game to the next level (Patrick Kane, that includes you). Take a page from Detroit and learn how to play defense at all positions.
Awww, come on guys, it's so simple maybe you need a refresher course. It's all ball bearings ...
Yeah. I actually feel pretty good about this game.
Even without His Holyness and His Habbyness.
Got more soul than a sock with a hole.
on the plus side
I feel like at times, the hawks play some of their most fundamentally sound hockey with Huet in net, (see third period game 3 and some of huets shutouts where he didn’t face very many shots). I think at times they open up their offensive game more with khabbi in net because they trust him to back them up.
Then again, there is the winter classic and game 4…….oh boy.

Possible SCH poll?
If I told you after game two that you had 2 choose 1 of two options for the rest of the series………
1) everyone on both teams healthy
2) lidstrom and datsyuk out, BUT khabbi and havlat also out
Which would you think gives the hawks the better chance to win?
I still say #1.

sorry
on that last post I morphed into 12 year old girl texting language and said “2” instead of “to”, I will punch myself in the face as punishment.

I'm sorry to report
That it has already taken place without video evidence, plus I’m not much with webcams.

No brainer
- in a landslide.
But that’s not what we’ve got. We’ve got a young team missing their scoring leader and the goalie they trust. This is the hand we’ve been dealt so let’s play the damn thing.
We’ve got to have guys step up that are capable of stepping up.
Buf, Kane, Versteeg- I’m looking at you.
Buf, Kane, Versteeg.......
and how bout a little Cameron Barker, where the hell has he been at since the Calgary series.

I'll take a # 1 please

Whirlaway tonight?
Or is it fend for ourselves? No pressure either way. Just need to tell the sherpas whether or not I need them for the Blue Line trek to Logan Square.
