May 6th - Beard of the Day: Dom DeLuise

Not to bum everyone out even more by making the beard of the day from someone who recently passed away - but it's the only tribute I can give to a man who shaped my childhood with movies like The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, The Muppet Movie and of course his amazing role as Itchy Itchiford in All Dogs Go To Heaven.

Then of course Dom was also in all the Mel Brooks movies that I started watching around high school and still love.

And just because we can never have enough of The Muppet Show on this site:

that would be good…granted I’m sure you’d like to use more well known individuals but there seems to be a good number of fellow indie music snobs around here. Or Joaquin Phoenix from the ill-fated Letterman appearance…even though the dude is an overrated douche.
