Chicago Blackhawks Sign Marian Hossa
I guess I do have to stop calling him a sad panda - but I refuse to stop posting this picture.
Obviously this means Havlat will sign elsewhere - so here's a quick look at the numbers
Compared to
We all loved Havlat last year with the Blackhawks - he still has nothing lower than a B in his season review. He was a crucial piece of the Blackhawks run to the Western Conference Finals.
But Marian Hossa is a better player.
We'll look more at this later but for now we're all still too busy watching everything else, expect more tonight.

I think I’m dreaming. How the hell does this happen?

Speaking of dreaming...
How about Hossa for the next 11 years, and we sign Havlat for this year? Serious hockey-gasm right there.

I am still going to call him Sad Panda. Until he proves that its worth changing. Also because i find it hilarious.

You're dead on with that picture.
He does look like he’s slight bear like, and about to cry.

Hey Hawks people
How much room do you have under the cap for next season?

Love the sad panda name
Not many people on the scum page seem to be panda faced with his departure. What I most hope for is that this becomes a fresh start that Hossa needs and that he comes with a focused and committed attitude minus the kind of comments he made when he left the Pens. As a player, it’s hard to not like what he brings to the ice and I would have to agree that he is a better player than Havlet, although in fairness he brings something different than Havlet.
What I don’t like is the money commitment and his off ice baggage. If the stupid Pierre questions die down quickly and he shakes off his finals performance, the rest will take care of itself.

Holy Shit!
I saw this on another site and was sure it was some sort of a joke.
Bulls and Hawks winning in the playoffs, Cubs' season off to a fresh start, and Cutler hysteria still simmering?
Just another day in Chicago sports.

umm...
…12 years though?…I don’t know what to think right now…it sure is balls-y, i’ll say that…i guess he was only a wing for one year, so he’s not a complete dirty son of a bitch…and I guess this means Huett is the man, which makes me a bit nervous…
oh well…welcome to the team, Panda…

Can I still follow JHC on twitter?
If I can't be a good example, I'll just be a horrible warning
