JHC Is Going To Hang Out With Prince
Probably deserved better, and I'll have more thoughts about Marty later. Can't wait to see the details of the deal.

check out havlat's twitter
interesting stuff. too bad we probably will never know the real story.
yeah
he is up there now posting stuff:
Excited to be in Minny where I was welcomed and appreciated by management. The real story about what happened in Chicago to come out.
There’s something to be said for loyalty and honor

exactly
have to say, he should keep his mouth shut and let it go. It was a business decision over a guy with an injury history vs a guy without one. JHC is better suited for the martyr role anyway.

Prince?
actually I think Prince lives in LA now. How about Robert(Bob) Zimmerman(Dylan)? The Replacements…Husker Du…ok enough music-geekness.
Poor Marty though. The best he can hope for is being on a line with M.Koivu and A.Brunette. Granted he was on a line with more D oriented players like Bolland and Ladd but still. I heard earlier that there might be a Koivu brother reunion in MINN.
So
Does this make Tallon = Pontius Pilate? Will Martin Havlat become the next Mark DeRosa? Will I buy a Hossa jersey because, hell, he’ll be around awhile?
How many million per injury per year does that work out to?

You’ll be missed Marty, but this is a business, is it not? Becuase if it is a business, then this is the way it goes. Given the comparison between the durability and performance between JHC and Panda, I don’t, and will not, blame Dale and Scotty for pulling the trigger. I would have made this move on 99 out of 100 days, and twice on Sundays…besides, JHC can dry his tears with his money, and i hope he plays well and stays healthy…
