You thought we had problems?

Those pricks over in Calgary have got it a lot worse. In this TSN video they try to predict the Flames' season. But what they don't give a lot of time, is their brutal offense.

Dawes and Rene Bourque are the top candidates to fill the left wing position on the top line.

Drama like ours is one thing - but the inability to put together a single descent offensive line, well that's a big problem.

Oh Rene.

Do you think he got rid of the unibrow yet?

The Flames are in deep trouble.

The Sutter clan must think it’s still 2004 because all they have is defence with absolutely no offence to speak of. With Iginla and Jokinen being the Flames only 2 options on offence it looks like Calgary may burn out before their flame does. The Western Conference is too deep and talented with at least 13 of the 15 teams within think that they belong in the playoffs and all have legitimate offensive firepower. The Flames PP was bad enough down the stretch, which ultimately led to them losing the Northwest Division, with Cammalerri and Bertuzzi let alone without them. Ranking dead last in the Conference on the PP and total offence could all but derail any (if not all) the Flames hopes for a Cup run.
With the addition of Bouwmeester many have high expectations of Calgary which will most likely won’t be met. Calgary will struggle throughout the season which may result in an early spring.

It's never about the eventual destination, but rather the long journey and its challenging obstacles that are presented and what it takes to overcome them, that makes the taste of success all the more worthwhile!!!
