Darren Eliot of SI.com attempted to ask that question and to the surprise of probably no one - Jonathan Toews' name came up (nevermind that bit about him winning the Calder though).

There's plenty of problems in trying to determine who the next X is - the game is constantly changing so circumstances are never the same. But as just a thought exercise when the off-season gets boring.. it's pretty fun. Toews' sick wrister from the slot will certainly help fuel those comparisons for a while.
