Second City Fantasy Hockey is Go

So the response to my initial call for interest in a fantasy hockey league here was a little overwhelming. In response though - I've set up two leagues to try to get everyone who wants a spot involved. Both leagues are very similar - one will be on Yahoo! and one is on ESPN.

Both leagues are head-to-head with a max of 12 teams. That still might be enough so it's first come-first served - if you don't think you'll be able to pay attention to your team, try not to sign up right away so that others have a chance.

The roster positions are 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 2G, 4BN, IR and the point settings are Goals, Assists, +/-, PIM, PPP, GWG, SOG and for goalies Wins, GAA, SV% and Shutouts.

Draft Time: Tuesday Sept 22, 8:15 Central

For the ESPN League:

Draft Date: Wednesday Sept 23, 8:30 Eastern.

I've never actually set up a league before so if you seen any problems or have some suggestions, join a league and give your advice and we'll see how the rest of the league feels. Both draft times can be changed too so we'll work on that as people join.

UPDATE:

Both leagues are full now - but depending on the interest still around we can add people to either league or we could start up a new Yahoo league. Let us know in the comments if you're still interested..

I agree let’s get more Yahoo. I’d love to get in on it. Most of my fantasy stuff is on Yahoo and I think its pretty good.

I'd play still.

Either site doesn’t matter to me. Laptop is broked so I have to go to the library to get on teh interwebz. Looks like I was a bit too slow for the first two leagues.
