Buff Not Going To Vancouver, Apparently
At least that's what blowhorn Jesse Rogers is reporting. It could be a good thing if Buff goes into "fuck you" mode and shows why he should have been picked the rest of the year. It'll be bad if he spends the rest of the year in a sulk. We shall see.

They look like they may be undersized in the tournament.

I agree
even Modano would’ve been a better choice. Also, Quick over Anderson must have been a close call

There are about 7 other guys who would've been a better selection
How the hell does Tortorella as an assistant coach not tell Wilson and Burke how utterly useless Drury’s been this year.

Quick is there because he's young
at only 24, he’s the future of US netminding

I went to the camp in woodridge in the summer, the only guy to stand out was TJ Oshie and I’m really suprised he didn’t make it.

He's been largely invisible this year

Oshie has been crazy inconsistent this year. He’ll have games where he’s all over the ice making plays, and then the next game you don’t hear his name at all. How much of that is him or the fact the rest of his team has been underachieving, you be the judge.
That said, I’d still take him over Dustin Brown or Joe Pavelski. Osh has a better physical game than both, while still coming with the same scoring ability.

Oh man
I disagree. Dustin Brown is a 30 goal scorer and a pretty big presence. Pavelski gives them decent flexibility with their second and third lines and the power play. Oshie still has some growing up to do before he’s a force for Team USA.

I wouldn't call it a snub
But if I were picking the team and saw how big Canada was I would be more inclined to go with Buff
