Might be time to trade Kane
Hear me out on this. I know this sounds like a ludicrous concept, but I honestly believe in it.
So Patrick Kane was supposedly involved in a bit of a "misadventure" the other night involving him not wearing a shirt with two women. Back in August-September, he was arrested for assault whilst in a taxi. It seems to me that this kid lacks some very basic maturity, all things considered, and while it sounds ridiculous to say "Trade Him!" for that at the age of 21, it's the fact that what he's doing is ludicrous even for his age. I think the Hawks have enough talent as is that they can withstand trading Kane. If I were Stan Bowman, I'd start exploring trade possibilites.
IMHO.

Obviously...
Being shirtless in a limo with girls(oh my god) will lead to murder and rape so you must be right. Trade him for Turco!!
Throw the book at him`
He wasn’t wearing a seat belt either.
Sucker! Competitive violence, that's why you're here!
I'm really, really hoping.
But I doubt it.

How about NO
Kane is a young college-age guy, and he’s going to ACT like a young college-age guy sometimes. It’s not ludicrous, it’s a 21-year-old’s nature. The body grows faster than the “mature thinking” part of the brain develops, so he’ll do some dumb stuff. Is it embarrassing? Sure, but he’s going to learn from it and probably won’t make the same mistake twice.
The power play is still f**king clown shoes
Everybody...HIT SOMEBODY! ~ the Chicago Rush are back in April 2010
What’s ludicrous is the fact that he had to go out and apologize for having a good time. IMO the goal of these pictures being released on the internet is to derail the Hawks from the incredible season they are having. If they keep winning and every week there are new pictures of these guys in limo’s with chicks I say more power to ‘em. Not only are they winning, but they’re having fun too.
Chicago sports reporters have nothing else to focus on right now. What would help would be a couple Bulls bringing some guns to the UC over some gambling debts. Then there would be something to talk about.

Cubs should trade Castro too.
Heard he farted in the locker room once
To eliminate exclusion, we cut out the differences to feel like we belong.
I'm actually in favor of this
It’s pretty clear that Kane is immature, and the sooner we can dump his salary to clear cap room, the better. He’s pretty athletic, and he has a good shot, but hockey’s a game based in the maturity of the player and his devotion to an ascetic way of life. We don’t want to have a Milton Bradley situation on our hands, and this is exactly where Kane is headed.
While we’re at it, we should look into playing Hossa with Buff and Niemi as a converted goalie, and not selling tickets to home games.
All right, come on, dummy, you won the game. Come on. Pick up your trophy.
If Niemi played wing with his goalie equipment on he’d kinda look like a fat guy from Nintendo Ice Hockey. In that case i would go Kane, Versteeg, Hossa, Niemi. Skinny, Skinny, Medium, Fat. I find it to be the best line-up in the game. Of course we could only use this 4 on 4 or overtime. Another thing, why did Poland have brown uniforms? That always pissed me off.
The past is for cowards and fools....
no we're trading Kane, remember?
Maybe we can package Kane and that PUSSY Campbell for Kovi!!!!!
"Why does Jay Cutler look so bad running these awful plays behind an incompetent offensive line?" - VeryFakeAlDavis
Are you fucking kidding me?
Unbelieveable. First the douchenozzle who made the Campbell post, then you come here making this post claiming we should trade Kaner? Can’t you assclowns just enjoy the team we’ve got, perhaps the most dominating hockey team Chicago has seen in two decades if not more. Enjoy the ride, even if it’s not going to be perfectly smooth. It happens to every team over a long season.
There are going to be potholes somewhere along the way in every season, just like any road would have. So you drive over the pothole and continue on your merry way. It’s as simple as that.
Yes, he’s had two mishaps in the last year. I could care less about the second one— IT’S WHAT PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES DO. It’s no different. Get used to it. Hockey players are going to go out and drink. Sure they got photographed shirtless. At least they had SOME clothes on.
He’s 21 years old. The average 21 year old multi-millionaire is bound to do something stupid now and then. Give it a break. They’re still human like the rest of us off the ice, nobody is perfect.
Now, setting aside the mishaps, Kane is far and away our best player. He has been an absolute BEAST this year. He’s not too far off his career highs for goals, assists and overall points, and if he comes back from the Olympic break hot, you might see him top 100 points for the year which is pretty damn good for a 21-year old. The scary thing is that he hasn’t even reached his prime yet. Watch him have the ability to almost single-handedly dominate a game by himeslf in three years. He’s already almost there at this age.
Also, Kane is signed for the next five years, so you might want to open your eyes and just watch and thank your lucky stars that your team has a player of this caliber.
One final thought on Kane— he has grown up in the last year. There’s no doubting that. He’ll continue to grow up. So what with the mishaps now? He’s apologized for both of them. There might be another one, sure, but like I said, no one’s perfect. In fact, I’m quite proud of the person he has become both on and off the ice.
And why do people only focus on the negativity? There’s many positive things about Kane—he’s had that toy drive, he’s given many of his sticks to kids after practice, he’s been generous, and he has signed many autographs. Open your eyes and do your research before you post something. Don’t let one or two little things off the ice determine your opinion on what should be changed on the ice.

exactly. when i was 21, i was dominating the world of medieval icelandic academia, and still partying hard every freaking night. just because no one had a digital camera doesn’t mean that i wasn’t half-naked in the back of a limo in Reykjavik.
plus, throughout it all, i was an asshole to everyone i came across. kane has only been an asshole to one stupid, old man driving a taxi.
All right, come on, dummy, you won the game. Come on. Pick up your trophy.
and to be honest
living in buffalo last summer I definitely learned that all the cabbies on Chippewa are crazy!

Chili is, uh… it is one of those things that is either great, or horrible. I love the recipe that my grandfather gave me, but it starts out with a pound and a half of suet. Most people don’t even want to try it just because of that, but Lord, it could not be better. I normally am too scared to order chili at a restaurant without a recommendation, so I guess I’ll give JoeR a try next time I am over there.

i agree
This clearly has to happen. especially since i found out that Kane didn’t take his shirt off in the limo. Except he continued with his notoriously lazy attitude and just never put one on after changing out of his uniform.

you know...
Michael Irving was doing blow in the Cowboy’s locker room and he was still a great reciever that helped Dallas win multiple championships.
Kaner can do what ever he wants when he’s still coming back every season and improving his numbers all the time. I’d say as a point a night player, he’s entitled to do whatever he wants so long as it doesn’t effect his play on the ice and his report with the rest of the team in the locker room.
And clearly his shenanigans aren’t adversely effecting either.
And while Anahiem returns to the locker room, Todd Bertuzzi is cuffed and returns to the squad car.

"In an ideal world I would have all 10 fingers on my left hand so my right hand could just be a fist for punching."
not ludicrous at all
I agree with LetsGoCraps – yes Kaner is young and has put up dazzling numbers, but the reputation for laziness does not bode well for career longevity (not to mention that for a 21 year old athlete, he’s got a pretty soft physique in those pictures). Send him back to his hometown – trade for Tyler Myers.
Before this slides off the bottom,
I just want to say it one more time.

we should trade Toews too. Maybe we could package them up in a deal.
