Crap, I lost my intro. Too lazy to repeat it, basically, I don't like crowds and I went to signings and I don't usually do this. And now I can't figure out how to make my pictures appear. This fanpost is a total fail. Yet it's not, if you read through, cause now I think the pictures are there.
OK, I've figured out pictures, but they keep popping up on top and I have to move them, this is sucking. I better not be missing Olympic hockey for this.
Here's Brouwer when he entered the Relax the Back in Lincolnshire. He basically just came in and plopped himself on the bed to do the signings:

He and I had a nice little chat. I was nervous, as I didn't know the proper behavior at these type of events and there were people waiting behind us. But, I'm not known for being the quiet type, so I asked first off if I could join him in bed (NO), then asked what he thought of his new nickname Yossarian (Yossarian?????) , but most importantly, I got him to sign off on his Feb 3 travel diary posted in the CI:
He didn't even read it, though. I was really surprised. Thought he might want a copy.

Apparently the Kid did not upload the pic of him and Brouwer which I had to take with his fancy ass camera. It was a total disaster as I had no idea what button I was supposed to press, and everyone laughed at me. Yes, I kicked them all in the nads later.
So, since we heard the Sharp signing was just a madhouse, with lines out the door, we opted instead to go visit Fabulous Weapon. This one was in Northbrook, and by the time we got there it was nearly empty. However, the organizers were a lot more pushy and it wasn't as laid back as the Brouwer signing.
I don't know why he wasn't laying down. Not much of a way to show that Relax the Back is good for your back. 
So being as we were unprepared for this signing, I had him sign the roster part of the CI, and he seemed unsure where I wanted him to sign it.
At this one, they were very stingy about giving cards to have signed, and since I donated to the Blackhawks Charity at the Lincolnshire store, I had to argue with them as I left my big ass purse in the car. Signed pics of Brouwer and Bolland will be given to the Matts (the tall undateable one and the ginger one) next time I see them.
Some douche yelled to Bolland I think - so what do you think about Barker getting traded? Which now that I think about it may be the reason he looked so somber. He wasn't all that chatty.
The best, however, is that we now know I can fill in for Sarah Kustok. I told both of them that we were in St. Louis, and they did smile and say stuff like great, yay fans, yada yada.
I'm glad we went out, it was fun, although I could tell there were some bandwagon fans (by the things they did/said). I also learned that we should go prepared with something to have them actually sign, as after I was shot down on getting in bed with Brouwer, I figured having him sign my boobs would be out of the question.
