Hello,
How about that ride in? I guess that’s why they call it Sin City (hahaha)
You guys may not know this, but I consider myself…a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Doug home, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So were two…so there was two of us in the pack. I…I was alone first in the pack, and then Doug joined in later.
And 6 months ago, when Doug introduced me to you guys. I thought…wait a second, could it be. And now I know for sure, I just added 2 more guys to my wolf pack. 4 of us wolves running around the desert together, in Las Vegas looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, we make a toast!

Brendon Burke, Brian Burke’s son, is dead.
Apparently he was a casualty of a winter storm, which seems like a particularly senseless way for a very brave young man to die. Brendon became well-known as a gay man to come out of the closet while working in hockey, and his admission sparked a conversation across the League about how hockey handles masculinity and queer issues. Now he’s gone.
Rest in peace, Brendon. May your family find grace, and may whatever everafter you find be both kind and lovely.

I find it odd that no one is pointing out that
The Hawks are just playing shitty plain and simple. Two years ago when they showed signs of being decent along with stretches of shit like the last 5 or so games no one gave a crap. A year ago they struggled most of the year to get in the playoffs. And now they are SC favorites? This struggle is the best thing for them. Give them the opportunity to show they can recover. Long season between now and May/June.
