A cry for help
I have a good friend who is a lifelong Canucks fan (and despite that, a really good guy) coming to town for the game in March. Having just moved back to the area after many years away, I haven't yet seen a Hawks game at the UC, and don't have any ticket connections outside the usual avenues. Worse, I know this particular game will be an extremely tough ticket. Some of the prices I've seen are making me think about a second mortgage.
Suggestions? Advice? Anyone happen to have two seats or know of someone who does? I'd like to show off our building and our fans the right way, especially since he's rerouting a trip to come in for the game. I also intend to have him as hung over as possible on his flight out the next morning.
If this isn't the appopriate place to post something like this, my apologies. I figured if anyone would know, it'd be all of you. Thanks in advance!

craigslist
Look on craigslist the week of the game and as late as day of the game. Negotiate with people. You aren’t going get anything for face, but 2 second tier 300 level seats for $60 a piece is possible. If that prices you out, then you might struggle to find something in your price range.
Sites like stubhub and other online ticket brokers are going to be outrageously high, it really isn’t even worth looking there.

Craigslist is the absolute best place to go. You can find either someone panicking and dumping their tickets or someone just genuinely nice and selling them cheap. Check the page often and try to be the first to email someone and make sure you respond quickly if they email you back.
Godspeed sir.
Thank you both
I’ve been combing Craigslist for about a week now, so I’ll just keep on it until I find the right deal. 300 level prices have been bearable, so unless I see a great deal on something closer, I might just have to find out where all you fine people will be sitting so I can introduce myself (and my heathen companion). Much appreciated!

Thanks for reminding me to repost my craigslist "For Sale" ad
While combing CL, perhaps someone might be interested in a few of these?
Well, folks, I want to thank you for being here for the recording of my live comedy album. Funny material and laughter will be dubbed in later.
