Man I thought I’d get more comments outa this one =/.
You're right. You got screwed here. This is great.
Unfortunately, I believe FanShots often get overlooked compared to FanPosts. Also, the reason that the ones that were just posted in the last day probably got more attention is because we were talking about making these in the GDT. Without taking anything away from the others who posted their videos – graphically this rocks! I think you may have lost some people with the “What if Huet played this way all the time?” because it is confusing. He obviously doesn’t and therefore we’re all left with “le sigh” and don’t want to comment about something that is a harsh reality. Quite the opposite of the original commercials.
I remember this save like it was yesterday. Great choice. I still wonder to myself when I see it “He couldn’t have meant to do that – could he??”
Question. Did you add the flashes of light? That’s pretty awesome if you did. Also, I’m making a couple myself and I’m using Movie Maker. Did you? I’ve been running around trying to get advice on doing the video reverse.
Well, folks, I want to thank you for being here for the recording of my live comedy album. Funny material and laughter will be dubbed in later.

By the way
If you’re the creator, why was it posted by Dr Ice? Just curious because no credit was given.

Creator
I posted it on youtube and just signed up on second city so he must have found it.
I used windows movie maker to edit the music titles and video.
I rewound it with a script and a program called avisynth i believe it was.(On a different comp right now)
Awesome, thanks
I believe it is avisynth. I was on that site a couple times today, but wasn’t sure if that was the route to go. Now I know it is. This will be my first video with Movie Maker, so hopefully I’ll be able to figure out the multiple audio overlays, etc. I haven’t gotten to that point yet, but it looks fairly straightforward (of course now I just gave myself the kiss of death). Thanks again and I’m glad you’re at least getting credit now for your work (not saying that Dr. Ice was trying to steal credit, but citing you would have been nice).

I think he did mean to do that
In the slow motion part, you can see his leg is going down toward the post and he lifts it up in time with the shot. I want to say I read a quote from him that he said something about just hoping against hope to get his leg up in time, but maybe I’m imagining that.
Some tips
Watch with getting the video to line up with the music it can be trickey
My title screen “What if Huet played this good all the time?” Honestly sucked I couldn’t figure out how to get it to look like the nhl official one.
the flashse
They were pure luck from all the pictures being taken that it came up like that. I watched it to make sure.
