So we're not going to go into a bunch of detail here... you know the deal.  If the Sharks lose in regulation tonight, the Hawks will be the #1 seed going into the playoffs meaning they'll face the Lanche in the first round.  If the Sharks go win or go to OT, then the Hawks will need to match (or beat it) to take the top spot.  We're not so concerned about who the Hawks play in the first round, but lets not kid ourselves, being the best in the Western Conference would be pretty damn sweet.
