Let's try this again: WCF Game 4 (Sunday 5/23) New York City watch

It’s a pretty nice place. Pretty big restaurant with standard food. The tv’s in the booth are pretty pedestrian, but you can at least get the sound through there and then turn your attention to one of the HD’s that’s in the restaurant. (If I remember correctly on the sound piece) The booth’s are really nice…

But there’s absolutely plenty of TV’s, I wouldn’t worry about not being able to get prime property in the bar at all.

Unfortunately, I can’t be there. Gotta fly out to Orlando that evening, but have fun!

I agree, the booth TV’s suck. If they have the game on one of the bigger TV’s we should be fine. Friday night would have been tough to get real estate but I’m guessing we would be ok on a Sunday. My hope is if there’s enough of us that they will put it on one of the TV’s. The Yanks play at night so we stand a chance.

If this goes to a game 7 I’m going to be in San Fran for a conference which basically means I’m going to blow my savings on a ticket and a rental car. I hope that doesn’t happen for multiple reasons, the least of which is my personal finances.

Due to inadequacy of my current fund stockpile, and the relative distant proximity of the tenured locale for the arrangement under current discussion, regardless of my desires to frolic in the agenda in proposition, I will have with hold my participation in said session until the Organization which we follow becomes involved in the imminent awarding of a Chalice whose weight is 35 pounds of Noble stature and is known to have adult beverages consumed from with, and at which moment in time the fiscal situation the has arisen shall under most conditions have resolved itself allowing my seating at the table of SCH NYC.

It’s not an easy commute, but such is my dedication to the Hawks. Count me in.

VerStig and I held it down. Thankfully he had some friends come so it didn’t look like an internet blind date. He had the server take a picture so I assume that is forthcoming. I had more than my share to drink including the PBR tall boys that turned it around after we went down 2 goals. PBR tall boys are now my official drink of the NHL postseason.
