Over at Broad Street Hockey, the writers put up a thread for their commenters to enjoy Game 4 of the WCF. I thought it would be fun to read through and see what they thought, and it was.
For one thing, they are no where near as jinx adverse as we are. They were't shy about talking about which team they want to face and which team they would match up well against.
And surprisingly enough, they want to face the mighty Blackhawks. Here's a sampling of some of the comments:
Everyone needs to stop rooting for the hawks. You will hate this fanbase. They are basically the pens of the west (plus passive aggression).
Rooting for the Hawks has more to do with how we perceive the match-up in the Finals should the Flyers finish off Montreal, not the fan bases. I know for me I like San Jose much better.
Correct. That’s the only reason I’m rooting for them. If it were pure preference of the players on each team (and their fanbases), I’d be all Sharks.

25, 24, 25, 23…that’s how old the Hawks goal scorers today are….they are a solid young team who is not going anywhere. Should be fun if we advance.
ETA: It appears I did not read this one closely enough and this was meant as a compliment to the Blackhawks and not as a prediction of demise. I apologize for the error. (Scott)
Don't get me wrong, not all their commenters are like this, and quite a few pointed out that the better team won the WCF and that whoever faces the Hawks will have their hands full, but some of these are entertaining nonetheless.
Go read the whole thread and see for yourself.
