Congratulations everyone,
I cant believe I actually got to write that title, and for that matter make this video. You guys wanted a sequel, so here it is. Selecting music for this was a monster pain in the ass (I think I listened to every epic soundtrack out there: Gladiator, Crimson Tide, LOTR, The Rock, National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean, Angels and Demons, Glory, etc etc to name a few) but I think I picked the right ones. It is set to "Arise" and "Unstoppable" by E.S. Posthumus, who in case you didn't know, specialize in writing writing music so epic, you may accidentally piss yourself (Unstoppable is actually featured in a Hawks scoreboard video, I heard it, and could not resist using it-its in the last minute of the video). I don't know how this one compares to 4 to go, but I think its a worthy sequel, maybe even like Godfather II is to The Godfather (I wont make a shitty third one starring Andy Garcia and that wretched actress Sofia Coppola, I promise).
A word of warning, this can get LOUD. I jacked the Macbook into my stereo and cranked it up and it shook the dishes in my kitchen cabinets, so if you value your hearing and don't want to be charged for a noise complaint, be forewarned.

The first one had more big moments, I think, since it spanned 3 series. But this one is great because these were 6 intense games and we got the holy grail. See, I can’t vote! You’ve come so far in such a short time in your video making, too.

fucking fantastic musical choices, first of all.
I loved the “Terminator” theme, but E.S. Posthumus has that escalating feel, which fit perfectly with the new narrative of winning the cup. I liked including the historical clips at the beginning, just to pin it chronologically, and all the jump cuts of guys lifting the cup at the end … just powerful, and like everyone else said, epic.

I still get chills watching this. AWESOME VIDEO for an incredible season, and the music chosen could not have been better. The way it builds, even more so during the SCF is perfect, and the video sync is perfect, and the music rest at Kane’s Stanley Cup winning Goal, perfect. This will be a video that can be played at anytime, anywhere when thinking of the Hawks, and is a Shit ton better than the NHL’s History has been made video

Holy FUCK~! I just got to watch it finally
and I am AMAZED, man…
Since I couldn’t see the (finals) games, I only got to see the highlight clips put together by NHLVideo on Youtube afterwards.
What was amazing for me, was that watching every clip as it occurred in the video, I knew exactly what moment it was. Its like this entire playoff run’s highlight clips are etched in my mind forever. I instantly recognize the plays developing – heres the shot deflecting to Hossa at the side of the net – OT Goal! Its truly awe-inspiring, and I agree with what someone else already said – it should be played in the UC when they raise the banners next year ( I still hope to be there for that . I told my wife, and she said "if you really want to go, we will – so I see an expensive trip to a Blackhawks game in my future in October!).
The only thing that I’d add to it (and I’ll say this about every single Blackhawks video that I ever watch so, seriously take this with the absolutely smallest grain of salt that could still be considered a grain of salt) is the goal horn at the end. LoL. I just love hearing that horn, and I always mentally add it to every video I ever see for the Blackhawks. Its just a personal thing so please don’t take it in any way, shape, or form as a negative statement.
Honestly, EPIC is truly what it is. Its amazing, and I got tears, and goosebumps and all emotional watching it. God, I love this hockey team. I love sharing them with all of you. Its been an amazing ride, and I’m so glad we all were able to share it together. Such a special team. The video truly does them justice – unlike the flat, stale videos that the NHL usually puts together.

So long as the torrent files are still available about a month from now, I'll be able to get them.
The internet in my room is less stable and considerably slower than the connection at work, but its unrestricted so conceivably it would be workable.
When I say its slower, I mean it takes me literally days, to download a 350 MB file.

interactive menus, etc. I put these two on it at the highest quality I could do, the last HWBM (what if 49 years) and about 7-10 minute highlight packages form each win. Problem is its 5 GB and I am having trouble locating DL DVDR for less than 40 bucks for a pack of 25 (which is ridiculous btw). Hopefully Ill have that rectified soon
