Blood Drive Photos
Sooo...my mom went and donated blood during the day, then we went back later in the evening to see the guys.
While I was at the end of the line for Turco, these 20-something girls came up behind me and asked who I was in line for. When I told them "Turco," they immediately declared that they were the beginning of the Stalberg line. My reaction: *groan, facepalm* (thinking) "Ugh, fangirls..." They just had that vibe about them. The same kind of girls that go all squee over Sharpie.
Seabrook was there at one point, too, but I already had his autograph, so I didn't stay to see him.

Turco was the first one there. He seems like a really nice guy. He was taking pictures with practically everybody.
Stalberg showed up a little while later. He seemed a little shy, but maybe he's just not used to the autograph thing yet. I like this picture. It's kind of arty (artsy?).
Turco and Stalberg
Skille was enjoying himself. He smiled a lot and chatted with everyone who came through the line.
And this is what their autographs look like.

I go a little squee over Stalberg, too.
I just try to keep it to myself in public. :-D
…he has very pretty eyes…

Halladay, Oswalt, Hamels, AND LEE!! HELL YES!
If I ever saw him in public I think squee is all that would come out of my mouth.
Part of me hopes I never get to meet any of the guys.

nice pics!
and way to go, giving blood. I would, except I have tiny veins so it’s never so much as me giving blood as it is me being poked all over while the nurse goes “wow, you have tiny veins! *jab*poke*”
Please, who doesn’t go squeee over Sharp? ;)
My veins are the same way!
I end up a bruised pin cushion after the nurses are done with me. Then my blood clots really fast if they do get it in, so I’ve given up.
I usually end up
getting the needle put in to the top of my hand. If they’re not careful, it hurts like hell
Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene."
yea, that's where my doctor has to draw blood
whenever I need any type of blood test. as much as it hurts, it doesn’t hurt as much as being shot in the hand close range by a paintball gun. I had that bruise forever.
The last time I had blood drawn
I left the office with bandaids on both elbows, one wrist and both hands. It was at that time that I gave up donating blood.
I'm sorry but this made me laugh.

I'm sure Stalberg
is really used to being asked for autographs. He played in Toronto.
