Blackhawks vs. Avs: Echos of last season?

Another home game, another 3rd period meltdown, another point left on the table.  We're seven games into the new season and that's now 2 points (1 vs. Boston, 1 vs. Avs) left on the table.  How quickly they add up...

Notes from tonight's game:  Hawks came out flying, dominating and looked like they might run the Avs out of the building - for the first 10-15 minutes.

Avs skated around the Hawks zone, in the corners and beneath the goal line, with impunity all night long.  The tougher, edge-ier Hawks must have taken the night off.

Crawford didn't have his best game.  Two goals scored from behind the net!  Seriously?!

Failed to hold a 3rd period lead in the last 2 minutes of regulation.

Couldn't score on a 4 on 3 powerplay in OT.

0 for 3 in the shootout (0 for 6 so far this season).

I'll layoff the comparison to last years team when the Hawks stop inviting the comparison.

Wake up boys!
