Cheap jerseys...knockoffs, legit...can anyone tell?
These guys came up on my Facebook ads. The fact that it's "allegedly"* an Alabama phone number and not something in Singapore or Vietnam, provides a wee bit more credence, and the $43 jerseys for guys no longer here makes perfect sense (too bad there's no Ladd), but $43 for Toews/Kane/Hossa/Keith jerseys...almost worth a $43 gamble...
Anyone seen this before, or better yet, actually tried ordering fro them?
*Allegedly, because on the contact page, the parentheses are in the wrong spot...tricky...

The numbers look different

I saw this too, and assume the phone number is thanks to Skype or something like it
However, I bought a couple knockoffs two months ago. One came out great, and takes someone really looking for flaws to find problems. The other has the Hawks logo a bit crooked, a few stray threads, and a size too small. However, I paid $60 for the pair, so no complaints from me.

idiot
found it.
Just copy/paste
Images of fake Team Canada replica hockey jerseys for a story about fake hockey jerseys and how they can impact the earnings for NHL teams and the league. The Olympic patch on the sleeve of the fake should have five multi-coloured rings, whereas the ones on the genuine should be a single colour. The Hockey Canada patch on the other sleeve should be roughly half as big on the real one as it is on the fake. The fake jersey has a fighting strap on the inside. Real Team Canada replica jerseys don’t have tie-downs. There are also significant differences in the texture of the materials . There are also differences with the printed logo on the Canada crest on the front of the jersey. The print on the fake does not line up properly with the outline of the maple leaf. Also, on the real replica, the name is printed on the name patch and then sewn onto the jersey. On the fake the sewing is done through the letters and the inner material, and so is visible inside. Looking at that site checking out the jerseys
A big giveaway that they are counterfeit
Not that I wouldn’t buy a knockoff, but these kind of mistakes don’t happen with licensed jerseys.

And there’s also a #33 Niemi green Jersey
And Winnipeg Jets jerseys are listed as the “New York Jets”
And New York Islanders jerseys are listed as the “Channel Islands”
With this kind of quality control it’s obviously a roll of the dice to try buying anything.
Hah!
Didn’t poke around that dilligently. I figured they were knockoffs…the only thing that gave any air of legitimacy was the ads on facebook as opposed to the usual ebay fodder.

I thought it was actually pretty funny,
I have a “knock-off” jersey already. The site I used to buy from got shut down. They don’t look like terrible knockoffs not any worse then what half the people at the United Center wear. Just thought that particular one was funny, might even make a good white elephant gift for the holidays or a something. Don’t judge legitimacy by facebook btw life lesson #84.
