Try so hard to let others know do not like Basketball or Hockey. I have friends of both sports that do it.

This year they are pretty bad all around

Every team has a gripe about them. Some pretty blatant penalties being missed on a regular basis. Auger seems to be the worst.

I think the officiating has been the same as it ever was, but now we have the ability to review every single call made almost instantaneously. Refs make bad calls and decided to let certain things go. We do not see everything going on in the ice like they do.

They are saying the same things in the NBA this year.

If you do not think that professional athletes know how to get away with penalties, some more than others (Hossa is one of them) then I don’t know what to tell you. They will dive, trip, slash whatever if they can get away with it. If it gives them an edge they do it.
