Beard Of The Day - 4/18 - Hans Gruber

Hans-gruber_medium

In modern cinema, I challenge anyone to find a more impeccable beard on a villain than that of Hans Gruber, German Terrorist (portrayed slightly ironically by the always fantastic Brit Alan Rickman). A lot can be learned from Gruber's raid on Nakatomi Plaza. No matter how well you think you've covered your bases by cutting phone lines, how many hostages you've executed, how many AK-47 toting henchmen you have sweeping the building, or how close you think you are to winning, all it takes is one man with the resourcefulness and determination (and your detonators) to bring the whole nefarious plot crashing down, and you yourself plummeting to your death from 32 stories. Yippee-kai-yay motherfucker.
