Hey gang, I didn't make it over here during the series, and now that the smoke has cleared I wanted come on over and say thanks to the many fine folks who came over to Nucks Misconduct during the series. The input of intelligent, passionate fans is always appreciated, and there are a number of you who we've grown rather fond of.

As far as the series, what the heck are these two teams going to do to try and top that? It's been years since I've seen a series like that. But for the ol' ticker, I think we should probably wait a couple years before we meet again. Anything less than what we saw this April would only be a disappointment.

Can't say enough about Corey Crawford. That kid is unreal, and certainly gives you hope to things back on track next year after stumbling a bit this season. I am quite sure they'll get him locked up and avoid a situation like you had with that Niemi fella...

So to all of you, thanks for a great rivalry. Lord knows our division isn't providing us with much to get excited about. Cheers, and best of luck next season.

Our whole season seemed a little unfair

Not being whiny about it, but it really seemed like we got a ton of bad breaks and lost a ton of close games. We were probably a 4 seed playing like an 8 seed (or worse).

Judging by the looks of last night, VAN shouldn’t have a problem with Nashville unless Rinne stands on his head the whole series, which he very well could.

after the purge certainly contributed… lots of new faces means almost starting from scratch. I think we will see a much better Nashville team tomorrow, we will win the series but it will hardly be a cakewalk.

someone’s got issues… the Canucks were able to add a couple pieces and they meshed. the new additions to the Hawks? maybe not as much. I don’t think it’s an excuse, merely one of the many factors that led to the season they had.

I actually agree with him to a point

I think the chemistry factor was a little overblown with the ’Hawks. Though you could make a case for the fact that most of our guys were new to the league, and not just new to the team…

Congrats again guys on a finely weird season. I watched a few more than the average Canucks fan, b/c chatting with you guys during the games made it fun, and they are fun to watch.

You have some extra money, but the Sharp question will be the one that dominates the off season, no?

I do appreciate it. This hasn’t been easy, and some of your team’s smugness post series was really uncalled for (see my sig below) but you and many of the NM folks are very good-natured about the ribbing back and forth. It makes the whole thing even more fun, IMHO.

See your team next year, and good luck the rest of the way. I’m sure I’ll read often and occasionally post there.
