I don't think a 2-way contract has anything to do with sending them up and down
It just means they don’t get the same salary in the NHL and AHL
I think they can go back to the AHL too
Morin and Leddy did last year before we called Leddy up for keeps. They just have to go back the juniors if they play in juniors. Leddy went from college to the AHL and I.. don’t know about Morin
What it does
Is kick in Year one of the Contract. AHL kicks it in (professional league) the OHL/QMJHL are strictly developmental junior leagues. The pay is based on if it is a one or two way deal (SPC), time in is not as relevant (though it does in some respects, just not here)

and if things go okay for him, he should end up, along with Quick and Miller, in the top 3-4 of all-time U.S. goaltenders. The U.S. hasn’t been strong at the position until recently.
He needs about 40 more to get in 10th
Quick’s at 16. Miller is 5th and the active leader
