I really dont understand why everyone let his comments bother them so much.
Personally I think he is very objective and have no problem with his posts. Did you all ever think that maybe if you just ignored him these wouldnt go on and on and irritate you more. Try ignoring him like you do a child’s bad behavior, that tends to disarm the situation. I in no way agree that his behavior is bad or inappropriate but you all egg him on by responding and constantly looking to jump on him and he is naturally going to defend himself when you attack. If you don’t attack and just ignore his posts it wouldn’t be an issue. I personally think most of you who attack him, love the conflict it brings and do it just for that purpose and really dont want him to stop.

Got into Nashville at 3 AM due to a thunderstorm. But hey, no excuses for this shitty play.
Yeah, the game was delayed too
due to weather. So they left late, had to circle Nashville for awhile due to weather, then finally got to bed late. Not surprising they look this way.

I was REALLY impressed with that save by Razor
given what he’s said he prefers to have as a warm-up. That was agile as hell. Keep it up, Razor!

Ray Emery has been the better of the two netminders this season and IMO it really hasn’t been close. Crow has been good in certain games, but lousy in others. Emery has been consistent and that’s what you need in the playoffs.
Time for Razor to start getting the boatload of starts to get ready, or is it too soon?

Especially given his record. Keep it going till he starts losing. His stats aren’t great, but the wins keep coming, so why not?
my ultimate concern
is that Razor CAN’T handle the number of starts a true No. 1 takes. Like, it’s possible he can, but I’m not sure we want to run the risk of him injuring himself by pushing himself. I’m worried about what his body can physically do.
As to Crawford, I don’t think he’s been good this year, far from it, really, but I hardly think we should be throwing the towel in on him just yet.

Philadelphia has done that to even Lundqvist this year. They do have an excellent offence to begin with and not a true indicator on Emery IMO.

I also worry about how smart of a move it is outside of what Razor's hip can handle
1. our game isn’t supposed to depend so heavily on goaltending being nails, it just isn’t.
2. we signed him to 3 years, should we just give up on that contract?
3. if we do this to a goaltender for the 3rd year in a row, what kind of free agent goalies are we going to attract? Salak isn’t working out nearly as well in the minors, right?
I don’t think anyone would or could disagree that Corey’s sophomore season is less than what we hoped it would be, but it’s probably not in our best interest to simply give up on him and move on.

we signed Razor expecting him to be a serviceable backup
in training camp, he was really lousy and everyone thought he was terrible. He’s since proven himself to be a more than serviceable backup. This seems to have kicked every Chicago fan’s ‘2nd string quarterback’ syndrome into gear, where for some reason, everyone in Chicago likes to root for who they perceive as the underdog.
I get it and we’ve all experienced it in Chicago, but I really don’t think we can try making Emery a No. 1, not given the uncertainty about his health.
When we get into March and through April, Q’s going to start wanting the ride the starter hard, that would the WORST possible time for Ray Emery’s health to kick out on him.

The view from the cheap seats... was brutal.
