So much for that weekend off. Anyway, the Hawks have acquired Brendan Morrison from the Flames. On the surface, Morrison could be a very nice 4th line center in the John Madden role. He can win draws. Doesn't help the kill much. My fear is that they'll try him at the #2 hole, and I don't think that will work. Anyway, Hawks give up Brian Connelly, who had some decent numbers at the A but is behind Olsen on the depth chart, as well as Clendenning and maybe others when they get in the system. Very low risk, maybe medium reward here.
