I was going through some old stuff today and found my first ever Blackhawks jersey. I bought it myself when I was 8 years old, I worked an entire winter shoveling snow and doing anything an 8 year old could to scrape together the money. I had gotten a Daze rookie card for Christmas that year, and I thought he was going to be rookie of the year and be the leagues next super star haha. I wore that jersey to my first game where I met Jeremy Roenick before the game was played, he was just down in the lower bowl area meeting a few kids. I look the picture of my first jersey with my newest one the show how long I have been a loyal fan. I have seen them play dozens of play off games, and have seen them lift the Cup once. I have seen them go from Cup contenders, to the joke of professional sports, to Stanley Cup champions. And I have seen them locked out of three seasons. This picture shows my lifelong loyalty to the greatest team in all of sports, right now no one is winning the lockout, but fans like us sure are losing.

This picture also shows that like a sucker, I will return as a loyal fan after this work stoppage..
