The forward lines are fine, and the defensive lines aren’t that bad either. Lepisto is finally in the lineup. Olsen looked promising his last time up. Plus Hjammer and Monty were both struggling with the new pairings IMO. This really isn’t a downgrade if Crow had a decent game.

Anyone notice that Q forced Leddy to skate on his left side? That’s been one of the biggest issues with the pairings all season, a lefty to pair with Leddy so he can skate on the right side. And now he’s on the left side instead and looks very aggressive. Hope that’s a good omen going forward.

Been biting my tongue to not bring up the topic for weeks! ;)
What I learned last season was that no matter how opposed fans are to something, suddenly it becomes a palatable option for discussion (for most) when the shit hits the fan.
No matter how comfortable Seabs and Keith feel playing together (as they should after 5 years), the eye test and the stats show they’re just not succeeding together as well as two elite d-men should. Maybe breaking them up gets them both back to basics, especially Keith.

and Joe has tried to up his douche quotient since that fight vs Getzlaf in the playoffs when everyone was calling him the stay puft marshmallow.
But he is just not that good at playing tough. He plays well at being the douche instead, and figures because he is big that is enough

I've noticed that.
He also has an issue of melting down at the worst times. He took a horrible slash penalty against Bolland in the WCF 2 years ago at a critical point. You can definitely get in his head.
