WOW! What a collapse.
Things are spiraling rather quickly out of control for this team and I’m not too sure there is a trade out there that SB can make that can turn things around quick enough. This road trip is going to be a very defining moment for their season.
And everyone knows that when a defining moment comes along, you either define the moment or the moment defines you. While I’ll never give up on this team tonight’s loss kind of makes me long for the days when I actually expected them to lose. At least then it wasn’t so damn frustrating. Of well, another chance to turn it around presents in less than 24 hours.

….Crawford’s confidence is broken, his technique and habits are all screwed up, and it might take an off-season to repair him…best case is Emery carries the load for a few weeks while Corey works with Coach Waite to get back to 2011 form. Between Corey’s performance and Razor’s hip, the goaltending situation is……not good.

They have played very well this year they just need to come through and I think they will.

The stats are bad Bodom…downright ugly in spots. The team D is awful, the PK is bad, and now the goaltending….my god the goaltending is dreadful.
I’ve posted elsewhere that in my opinion the only hope for this year is acquiring a stud veteran goalie. Unfortunately, Crawford has lost it and I don’t trust Emery to carry the load.

The stats may be bad
But considering we have 65 points with those stats, it’s rather reassuring. Those stats are also bolstered by some pretty nasty losses, 9-2, 8-4, and I don’t remember the score to the Calgary game.
My opinion again...
but the 65 points at this point of the season simply deludes fans into thinking this team has a shot at the hardware. I think 90 points is about it…likely on the outside looking in.
I’m not on the ledge, I’ve simply walked away and changed the channel. There must be something better to watch than this team.

additionally i propose that we start freezing out the people that start saying before the game even begins (and then during it) that we’re playing a team that should be easy to beat, or comments along that vein. Because EVERY TIME its said, we lose. EVERY TIME.
And I’m just going to say it. It wasn’t only Crows fault we lost tonight, but damn do I wish he had kept it together and saved some of those goals. He won’t be perfect, and I don’t think he totally sucks, but I think he needs to be better.

He may not suck
but he has been playing like complete and total shit for a large portion of the season, but being the loyal fan I am (that rhymed) I will continue to support him and hope he can turn shit around. Until then though Emery needs to get hot again.

yeah things have just not been good/consistant for him
i’m not as down in the dumps with him as some are, but i also think some of the uber defensiveness about him is a bit silly given what we’ve seen. sure not all goals are or should be all on him, but i don’t think its too much to ask for him to stand on his head and/or figure out ways keep us in games once in a while.

I don't understand the anger with this rant
Are we all supposed to be like “That was cool, that was a good loss!”
Not trying to defend anyone or anything
But as a fan I believe we are allowed to be disappointed. Also, don’t be so judgmental thinking we’re all bandwagoners and what not. This is a disappointing loss that shouldn’t have happened. I could stomach a loss like this to a team like Detroit. Not to Edmonton twice in one season. Calm down man.
Also being a dick to everyone and saying that everything is awful and sucks when the team does well and loses by 1 fucking goal in OT to Vancouver.
Isn’t like raging out because your team rolled over and let the Oilers beat their asses 8-4.

You don’t add an apostrophe and an “s” to pluralize something. Also, “it’s” actually means “it is”. If you want to use “its” as a possessive you leave the apostrophe out.
Just a helpful tip. I think when you get upset a bunch of apostrophes must just come pouring out.

And for what it’s worth, I’ll take all the bandwagon fans, higher ticket prices, and new Hawks culture if it means I don’t have to suffer through some of the terrible seasons we saw before the lockout. Watching winning hockey with a packed house is far better than watching shit with a few other bozos.
