Patrick Sharp's Big Week

Grant Halverson

The NHL took notice of Patrick Sharp's production last week and named him the 3rd Star of the Week.

The Blackahwks newly formed top line has been very productive since being put together seven games ago against the Minnesota Wild.  Patrick Sharp has benefited by playing with Marian Hossa and Jonathan Toews.  Going into the October 26th game in St Paul, Sharp only had one goal and five assists through the first ten games of the year.  In the eight games since being paired with Hossa and Toews, Sharp has scored three goals and added eight assists.

Today the NHL named their Stars of the Week which included Sharp as the 3rd Star behind Robin Lehner of the Senators and Frederik Andersen of the Ducks.  Sharpie put up a goal and six assists in his three games this week, including a four assist game on Saturday against the Stars.
