Who's the New Guy?

Oh boy. It's been a while since I've done this.

Hello Hawks fans, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Cody and I'll be your newest contributor here at SCH. Feel free to haze me in whatever way you see fit.

First off, I want to thank Greg, the editor and chief honcho of this blog, for this opportunity to contribute here at SCH. I've been a huge fan for the past few years now and I'm so excited that I'll be able to throw in my two cents and engage in some great hockey debate with some of the best fans in the game.

Just a quick rundown of who I am. I'm a Canadian Hawks fan (proud of it) originally from Toronto (not so proud of it) and I'm currently completing my Masters degree in Vancouver (really not proud of it) I was an editor/contributor over at BlackhawkUp last season, I like golfing and snowboarding and am almost always right. There, now you know me.

What I'd like to contribute here at SCH is some weekly (and perhaps semiweekly) segments that can provide a mix of humor and quality hockey analysis. I have a few cool ideas, but I'd really love to hear what you, the readers, would like these segments to be about.

Well, that's it for formalities. I'm excited to be here and I look forward to engaging with you on the message boards. I only hope that I can help continue the tradition of quality Blackhawks coverage that has made this blog so successful.

That's all for now. Keep your head up.
